CAIRO, Jan 19 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt’s Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said on Thursday that nominations for ministers in cabinet reshuffle will be submitted to parliament by end of January to be approved.
Citing Ismail, state-run MENA news agency reported that consultations on the upcoming cabinet reshuffle will be finalised by next week.
President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said in an interview published on Tuesday that the cabinet reshuffle will take place “very soon”. He also said that “what needs to be set right, will be set right”.
The government is yet to announce the ministers that will be replaced.
Egypt replaced 10 ministers in last cabinet reshuffle in March including for the justice, finance, investment and tourism portfolios.
