CAIRO, Feb 26 (Aswat Masriya) Egypt’s interim President Adli Mansour issued a decree on Wednesday that a national security council be formed.

According to the constitution, the council will be headed by Mansour and will include the prime minister, the speaker of parliament, the defense minister along with the interior, finance, justice, health, communication and education ministers.

The intelligence chief and head of the parliament’s National Defense and Security Committee are also to take part in the council.

The president is to call on members to convene once every three months and whenever necessary.
