CAIRO, Feb 4 (Aswat Masriya) Egypt’s Cassation Court has approved a sentence against former interior minister Habib al-Adly to three years in prison for exploiting young conscripts, striking down his appeal.
Adly, who served in Hosni Mubarak’s former government, made conscripts do illegal housework to serve him and his family while in office.
Adly and his aides were also fined two million Egyptian pounds each.
