CAIRO, April 1 (Aswat Masriya) Clashes erupted on Tuesday afternoon between security forces and Pro-Muslim Brotherhood students around Ain Shams University in Cairo's Abbasseya district.
Protesters from the "Students against Coup" movement marched outside their university en route to the defence ministry, prompting the security forces to block the road leading to the ministry, which completely paralyzed traffic in Abbasseya, reported al-Ahram portal.
The students started pelting stones against the forces, who responded by firing teargas bombs, according to al-Ahram.
An Interior Ministry plane is flying over the area to monitor the situation, according to satellite channel CBC Extra.
"We will continue, we are not scared," the protesters shouted while carrying banners saying "Down Down with military rule!"
