The National Youth Council is to host presidential contender and Socialist Popular Alliance Party (SPAP) MP Abul-Ezz El-Hariri and the Nasserist Karama Party MP Saad Aboud for a political discussion on Monday.
The event aims to help the youth express their political views and develop a dialogue with professional people.
The council will discuss the constituent assembly crisis, upcoming presidential elections, and the role of parliament.
El-Hariri is a well-known member of parliament, socialist and labour activist over the past 50 years. He is a presidential candidate with a long record of fighting for social justice.
The SPAP nominated El-Hariri as its official presidential candidate on 7 March 2012.
Presidential elections will take place on 23 and 24 May, and the president will be named on 21 June after a runoff-voting round on 16 and 17 June.
The event will take place in Sphinx Square in Agouza, Cairo.
