Having achieved a big win in the first two phases of the elections a Member of Parliament of Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) went to the United States.
Abdul Mawgoad Rageh El-Dardiri MP from Luxor of FJP, founded by the Muslim Brotherhood is visiting the US a representative of the party at the invitation of some non-governmental organizations. His visit is an initiative aimed to introduce the party's vision and program to Americans and talking about his party's experience in the parliamentary elections.
According to sources close to the MP, meetings would include clarifications of his party's position on tourism. Many fear FJP might impose restrictions on personal freedoms of tourists, which would affect the flow of tourism to Egypt.
According to these sources El-Dardiri had recently met the owners and managers of travel agencies and some workers in this field.
The MP said in those meetings that his party would not impose any restrictions on tourism, and that FJP would work to increase the flow of tourists. El-Dardiri added that branches of Muslim Brotherhood that exist in over eighty countries worldwide would contribute to promote tourism to Egypt.
