CAIRO, Oct 1 (Aswat Masriya) - Two students were crushed under a train as they crossed railway tracks in Gharbiya, North of Cairo, on Thursday morning.
A third student suffered serious injuries and was immediately moved to the hospital, the security director of Gharbiya said.
A government report said that 60 percent of railroad accidents are because of the behavior of citizens, who, like these students were crossing at the wrong place.
A deadly collision in Assiut in 2012 killed 51 people, mostly children, when a train hit a school bus, while in 2013, 30 people died when a minibus collided with a train just south of Cairo.
