Egyptian Information Minister Salah Abdel Maqsoud has called on all political forces including members of Hosni Mubarak's National Democratic Party "to turn the page on the past."
Abdel Maqsoud said in an interview on a satellite channel on Thursday, “We must turn the page on the past, even with our brothers, members of the National (Democratic) Party. I say 'brothers' because the political exclusion law only applies to 1, 600 members of the (dissolved) party.”
Abdel Maqsoud accused political parties, that he did not name, of receiving 12 billion Egyptian pounds from international and regional bodies, that again he did not name, to ignite chaos in Egypt.
