CAIRO, Sept 10 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb has ordered Wednesday the execution of the supreme administrative court's verdict to dissolve the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) and liquidate its assets.
The supreme administrative court ruled in a hearing on August 9 to dissolve the FJP, the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, and liquidate its assets, at the request of the Political Parties Affairs Committee (PPAC), in a final and unappealable verdict.
The liquidated assets are to be deposited in the public treasury.
Egypt has announced the Muslim Brotherhood a "terrorist" group and banned all its activities in December. Security forces have been rounding up Muslim Brotherhood members and sympathisers since Former President Mursi's ouster last year. Mursi himself faces trial in four different court cases.
