Thousands of citizens in Damietta on Friday participated in a number of marches from different mosques to al-Sa'a Square chanting slogans against President Mohamed Mursi and the Muslim Brotherhood.
The protesters denounced the sovereign Islamic bonds projects which the government plans to implement, Aswat Masriya correspondent reported.
They also chanted slogans against Prime Minister Hisham Kandil and the hike in prices.
The demonstrators demanded what they called "a president for all Egyptians".
