A Cairo court struck down on Monday appeals to drop the American citizenship of President Mohamed Mursi’s children as the plaintiffs failed to show at the hearing. 

The plaintiffs had asked Mursi’s children, Osama and Shaimaa, to publicly drop their U.S. citizenship immediately.
