The Supreme Administrative Court confirmed the ruling of the Administrative Court, to annul the election results for Cairo first constituency. Thus, rejecting the appeals of “Freedom and Justice” party.

“The ruling of the Administrative Court is consistent with the law” stated the court.

“The annulment of 15 voting boxes and the damage of another 75 boxes, as announced by the Head of the Supreme Judicial Committee for Elections, make the election results void” added the court

“The election results will not be announced till the verdict of the Administrative Court is revealed” said Judge Abd el-Moez Ibrahim, Head of the Supreme Judicial Committee for Elections, earlier.

“If the Supreme Administrative Court annuls the election results, then it will be invalid” declared Ibrahim.
