CAIRO, Jul 8 (Aswat Masriya) – Egypt is coordinating the transfer of wreckage parts, believed to be from the doomed EgyptAir MS804, that were found on an Israeli beach on Thursday, said the investigation committee on Friday.

The Airbus A320 crashed into the Mediterranean, about 280 km off the Egyptian seacoast en route from Paris to Cairo last May. It was carrying 66 people on board.

Citing an official in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, Reuters reported on Thursday that debris parts, possibly belonging to the doomed flight, were discovered on the beach of the Israeli city of Netanya, north of Tel Aviv.

Earlier this week, Egypt’s aviation ministry said the vessel tasked with locating the victims’ remains “had retrieved all the human remains that were mapped at the crash location of the A320.”

The vessel headed to Alexandria to deliver the human remains to the general prosecution and forensic doctors.

It will return back to the location of the crash"to conduct a new thorough scan of the seabed and to search for any human remains till being fully assured of the absence of any more human remains at the crash location,”  the ministry added in a statement. 

The reasons for the crash are yet to be known. 

But the data retrieved from one of the flight's black boxes showed that smoke had been detected in the lavatory and avionics bay on board of the plane, said the investigation committee.

Also, some of the recovered wreckage of the front section of the aircraft showed signs of high temperature damage and soot.
