Abdel Moneim Abdel Maksoud, Muslim Brotherhood's lawyer, said that the law suit put forward by Shawky El Sayed, Ahmed Shafik’s lawyer, regarding violations in the last presidential elections is considered "political and legal bankruptcy"

Shafik, who lost the presidential election last June in front of President Mohamed Mursi, filed a complaint to the Attorney General to investigate the violations that marred the second round of the last presidential elections.

The complaint filed by lawyer Shawky El Sayed stated some of those violations, including "card fraud for the selection of candidates and the importation and distribution of flawed pens for the purpose of invalidating the sound votes."

He called for the inclusion of the facts in relation “to preventing Christians" from voting. And the report of the Carter Center, which cited the existence of systematic fraud in favor of one candidate. As well as investigation of what has been raised in various foreign newspapers on the provision of foreign support of 50 million dollars in favor of supporting a certain candidate.  Moreover, the report issued by the Ibn Khaldun Center for Development Studies announcing that  Shafik was ahead of Mursi by more than 300,000 votes.  ?

Muslim Brotherhood lawyer, Abdel Maksoud, said that the Freedom and Justice Party already filed a complaint to the Presidential Election Commission with most of those allegations submitted today to the Attorney General.  And the Commission investigated those allegations for a week and ended to saving those complaints and announcing the victory of President Mursi.

Shafik threatened yesterday, following a decision banning him and his family from using their money, to continue to investigate the results of the presidential elections, and stressed "I won’t let go of my right, like I did following election days."
