President Mohamed Mursi returned to Cairo on Friday after a historical three-day visit to Brazil.
Mursi's visit, the first of its kind, aimed at boosting bilateral relations between the two countries in politics, economy and industry.
Mursi met with his Brazilian counterpart Dilma Rousseff to discuss ways to create a real partnership between Egypt and Brazil. He also invited Rousseff to visit Egypt soon.
The two sides agreed to strengthen ties to allow Egypt to benefit from Brazil's experience in fighting poverty as well as its economic and social development and democratic transformation.
Mursi also expressed Egypt's wish to collaborate with Brazil in military industry and vehicle assembly lines.
